Annapolis Family Photographer | Henderson Beach Portraits
I have been photographing this sweet family since it was “just the two of them” with a maternity session a few years back, since then I have gotten the chance to photograph how beautifully their family has grown, and increased. Those two sweet boys are just as lovely as they look, and I got the chance to spend part of the evening with them at one of my favorite spots, the Beach at Jonas Green Park in Annapolis Maryland! This park sits right on the severn and overlooks the naval academy to one side and then the severn river bridge to the other, its the perfect blend of beach and park with a golden sand lined beach area and a wonderful bay side that has great big rocks and some old broken down docks, along with some lovely over grown paths. We found a nice little secluded area of the beach and the boys went right to town with digging and exploring!
We looked for lots of “X” markings, since pirates leave their treasure with an X over it to mark the spot, but even after overturning all of that sand there was no treasure to be found. I so enjoyed taking a step back and just capturing them as them, their little family unit enjoying laughs and tickles and snuggles. The boys were on the move the whole time, but were such a delight and even gave me a few smiles here and there in between searching for treasure and launching the little boat!
