What a gorgeous night it was for meeting the chase family at the park! We met around sunset to begin their family sessions and it was nothing short of incredible! The children were perfect and so well behaved, the older girls constantly helping out with the younger children and taking them now and then so we could get a few romantic shots of Erin and her man. We toured all around the park stopping off in little areas here and there to capture another amazing portrait, the weather was incredible, the sunlight was amazing, and this family couldnt be any more gorgeous!

To end our shoot we found a tiny area in the park that was tucked away and had no other foot traffic so that we could enjoy our time of just being… just being a family, just being there, just being together.. whatever just being is to each family is what I like to capture. The smiles, the soft touches, the hand holding… the belly laughs that only dad can get out of them when he has tickled them so long they are just minutes away from peeing in their pants.. as an Annapolis family photographer I live to capture the little things, the moments, and the memories, after all anyone can smile for a photo but to have memories that last a lifetime that can be shared again and again, this is what brings me great joy!

This sweet family moved all over the park with me, the girls twirled and twirled in their dresses as the sun went down, it was an evening some only dream about, in the moment it may not have seemed like much to this family but it was incredible to watch them with each other, as mom softly sang to her tiny boy, as big sisters ran hand in hand with their siblings… this is life, this is love.. this makes art!
