I believe that photographs are captured memories, a time capsule if you will. Your family portraits should tell a story, every time your look at those images it should bring you back, and fill you with a flood of emotions, helping you to relive that moment in which the image was captured. It shouldn’t be a staged pose or a forced moment but rather an experience! From their first breath, to the first step, the year they were missing their front tooth, or gave themselves a haircut, the year you carried that baby inside of you, or when you walked them down the isle, I want to be there to capture those moments for you, and to laugh and cry right along with you.

As a mom I realize just how quickly time passes, and regardless if we mean to or not life gets very busy, so busy in fact that sometimes we realize that nothing from the past few weeks has been documented, no photos, no videos. Its not because you didn’t want to, of course you did, you meant well.. but life happened.
