3, 6, 9, 12 Months, or even 18 and 24 months are great points to capture new portraits.

Do you feel like summer moved by way too quickly? No, just me? I feel like it was just the last day of school and time to plan for summer vacations and what to do with the kids while they are off all summer, and now we are back to school supply shopping, and pick up schedules and ohhhh man do I want to savor every last ounce of summer time. Speaking of summer time I have shot some of the most incredible portrait sessions lately, many of them on some of our areas local beaches…. As an Annapolis Family photographer I love showcasing the beautiful landscape of Annapolis as the back drop for our portraits and this was nothing different. I have photographed this beautiful family a few times in the past including with this sweet girl was first born. This time we met… after quite a few rain rescheduled dates (This year has been non stop with rain and with portrait sessions mostly outside I have rescheduled my fair share of them for sure) at Jonas Green Park in Annapolis Maryland. This lovely park sits right on the Severn River with a watermans view on one side the the Annapolis Naval Academy on the other.

I had such a lovely time with this family running around the park and capturing new memories for them, and the beautiful smile of that little girl!!! The breeze was blowing in so nice off of the bay, and the sun setting perfectly, what a fun time was had.. I look forward to the next time I get to capture their family portraits!
