Meet Rosalind | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

A few weeks ago sweet Rosalind was in the studio for her Newborn Portrait Session, I loved my time with her. She was such an adorable little peanut! Her mama and I had been chatting ahead of time to plan out her session, and I was so excited about the elements that they wanted to add into her Newborn session. As an Annapolis Newborn Photographer I have the opportunity to photograph alot of Military clients, especially those from the Navy and Naval Academy. Rosalinds mama was a Navy Helicopter pilot which I thought was pretty awesome, and wanted to bring along her flight helmet for her daughters newborn portraits. I loved hearing her tell stories about flying helicopters, what a neat job right? Rosalinds dad was also in the military and brought along some of his items that we worked into her shoot as well, I loved how they turned out, we even got a family shot with that sweet baby wearing a Navy romper! She was a doll through her session, but really wanted to just keep snuggling with her mama…. makes sense right? So we shifted plans a bit to let her get a nice long full feed in so that she would be a happy girl for her photos, so we captured the first half of just her, then she spent some time with mama and then we were able to finish out the family shots. Every baby is different in what they need and want, it’s important to the success of the session that we listen in for those cues and satisfy what baby is looking for!
