Meet Emma | Baltimore Newborn Photographer

About a week ago I headed out to Catonsville Maryland for a lifestyle session in my clients home. I really enjoy shooting Lifestyle photography sessions they are so beautiful and as of late hadn’t had any, as most of my clients had booked sessions in the studio… which are also beautiful, just in a different way! Sweet baby Emma was only a few days old, and I couldn’t wait to meet her. She was the first child, and a rainbow baby, and her name was Emma…. I also have a daughter named Emma who is my first as well… so all around I was excited for their session! It was a tad bit gloomy out but Emma’s mama had assured me that their home was full of natural light from multiple windows… and she was right, they had windows everywhere and beautiful light filled their home! They decorated very mono chromatic with light subtle pops of colors which photographs so very well for lifestyle sessions. We spoke ahead of time about outfit choices so that everything would have a good flow to it, and it did… their session was everything I could have hoped that it would be.

Upon walking in I was greeted by Emma’s parents, her dad by her side as proud as could be. We walked the house to find the best light and got to work. Emmas nursery is just gorgeous, with furniture and decor from Pottery Barn Kids, and a collection of dusty colors, neutrals, and gold! Emma was just perfection, teeny tiny, and beautiful as could be. She did so well for her session, happy, sleepy, and made only the smallest of sounds.
