After taking nearly 2 years off from Weddings…. I am back

What can I say, but that I truly miss it.
After the Covid craziness that we went through in 2020, with all of our weddings no longer being permitted, and constantly getting canceled, and postponed, I took a bit of a redirection, while I was also in the middle of some big life changes. I focused only on Newborns & Families during that time which is a huge part of my business. However after well over 10 years of consistently shooting at least 10 weddings (sometimes well over 25) a year, I realized I was truly missing it. I love the wedding day, being part of the planning process, forming relationships with my Brides and Grooms, being a part of their special day. I loved being able to capture a moment in time with a storybook approach that my clients can not only remember how they looked but also how they felt on that day.

You see, something about being someone who feels things so deeply, (some may call it extra emotional) is that the wedding day draws me in, as a mama of two girls especially. You may even catch a tear roll down my cheek when I watch those baby girls wearing white dresses dancing with their fathers, or the moment the groom turns around and sees her for the first time and cannot control his emotions knowing that he has found his forever. It’s from that place that I enjoy capturing a day from a storytellers perspective embodying the feelings, and emptions, and moments.

And so, many of you already know, but I have gotten back into a more consistent wedding schedule, with some alterations from what it was before. As a single mom, with 2 daughters who are very involved in many activities I am very sensitive to their need of having their mama at their events, My girls are my world, and so I have worked hard on a schedule with availability that will let me accept a limited number of weddings, as well as provide weekend availability for my portrait clients, and still be present to many of the big moments in my girls life, and maybe even now and then take a vacation…….. but lets not fool anybody I shoot on nearly every vacation….Charleston, Ohio, Florida, and Myrtle Beach Clients….. your are on my travel schedule this year!

With that being said, word quietly got out, and spread quickly, and the inquiries for 23/24 weddings flooded in, and because of that 2023 is nearly booked solid, and I have begin taking limited wedding and events for 2024.
