Maryland Childrens Photographer :: Valentines Day mini sessions-
I love getting the chance to capture the same children over and over again! Its exciting to see how they have changed since their last portraits and the new things that they are doing. Whenever I hold mini sessions I generally get the chance to see some of the Children that I am capturing at other times with their whole family or when new baby is born, but the mini sessions are a chance just to see them for a bit and how they have grown!!!
This year for valentine day mini sessions I got the opportunity to capture some incredibly adorable children, some were toddlers, some could walk and others couldn’t, some loved to have their photos taken while others sure didnt, and some were just excited for the treats that came after the sessions were over!
Brittany and I did everything we could to get some of the best facial expressions out of them, but like any other portrait session some children just prefer tears over smiles, and in some way those images turn out just a perfect… there are a few crying shots I have of my daughter that I just cherish so much as they show her “baby” look so well, the same baby look that she has completely outgrown but those image bring it all back, and that is why I love them .
Some of the big sisters I have photographed at multiple different sessions and they were total pros at is, in fact sometimes they begin directing the shoot and tell me how its going to go, and you know what.. I go with it, I want to capture them just as they are and so if that is being silly, or tears, or cuddly, then that is how we capture their session.

Sarah is a Maryland Childrens photographer, capturing families, children, newborn, weddings and life events. She is also a mother, wife, health-nut, creative at heart, mentor, and prior to welcoming her baby girl worked as a nurse in an outpatient surgical center. When she is not behind the lens of her camera you will find her with her family, jumping in on a yoga class, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen. While she is a Maryland Family photographer she is available for travel and destination weddings, and family portraits.
