The Markakis Family | Baltimore Family Photographer
You may all recognize him as the incredibly talented previous Baltimore orioles player who now plays for Atlanta Braves. Or from the foundation that he and his wife started “The Right Side Foundation” which provides aid to children in distress through Baltimore Maryland. But on this day, he was dad to three of the sweetest boy I have ever met. His wife Christina and I had been planning out the perfect fall session to take place on their family farm which is insanely beautiful with over grasses…. which happen to be my favorite to shoot in! We met, and I quickly noticed that not only were they a beautiful family but the way they all interacted with each other was so sweet. The older boys looking out for their little brother, and Nick checkin in on his incredibly beautiful wife… I mean check out the images below… Gahhhh they looked perfect.
At first sweet Toby, the youngest of the three brothers was a bit camera shy and not really interested in the whole idea of family portraits, even when being bribed with all the things we bride kids with for portrait sessions, including hunting trips with dad, candy.. you know.. all the things.
It wasn’t until I noticed his Pay Patrol temporary tatoos that we started talking about his love of Chase the police dog of the popular kids show Paw Patrol, that I was able to finally offer a bride that worked! I told him about being married to a police officer and the idea of sending him a kids police badge…. well, wouldn’t you know he was simply full of smiles after that, and never have a seen a child happier to be a part of family photos!
I had a grand time with this fun family, and look forward to future portrait sessions with those three sweet boys… who at one point even ended up high in some trees… because… well, boys!!!
Nick and Christina, you have a very beautiful family, and such kind well behaved boys, I was honored to capture your family memories and look forward to seeing you all again in the future!

These are such beauitful family pictures. I think sometimes we forget how important it is to get these family pictures done– I just think about this mom and dad looking back on these in 10 years and being so grateful they have them! Beautiful work

What a nice surprise. I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan and recognized Nick immediately as one of my favorite team’s outfielders. You captured their family perfectly. They look so happy and natural. I love the black and white photos and of course the ones with the boys in the trees.
