An Intimate Annapolis Wedding Chapel Celebration | A Beautiful Alternative to a Courthouse Wedding | Annapolis Wedding Photographer

Not every wedding needs a grand ballroom or a guest list of hundreds to be unforgettable.
Some of the most meaningful celebrations are the simplest ones. Centered entirely on the promises being made, the people who matter most, and the quiet joy of beginning a new chapter together.
This intimate wedding at the Annapolis Wedding Chapel was exactly that.
For couples looking for something a little more personal than a courthouse ceremony, the Annapolis Wedding Chapel offers such a wonderful option. Tucked away in Annapolis, it provides the ease and simplicity of a small ceremony while still feeling intentional and beautiful.
One of my favorite features is the peaceful outdoor ceremony space. Surrounded by greenery, it’s the perfect setting for couples who want an intimate wedding without sacrificing the experience of exchanging vows in a beautiful location.
Whether you’re planning an elopement, a micro wedding, or simply prefer a smaller celebration, it’s a hidden gem that allows the focus to remain exactly where it belongs—on your marriage.
Maryland certainly reminded us that summer had arrived.
Temperatures soared, and it felt like one of the hottest days of the year. But despite the heat, there was never a moment where the joy of the day was overshadowed. There was laughter, happy tears, and the kind of excitement that only comes with finally saying, “I do.”
Sometimes the weather becomes part of the story, and years from now, I imagine they’ll smile remembering just how warm it was as they stood together exchanging vows.
As if the day wasn’t already memorable enough, the couple received an incredible surprise.
Because their wedding took place during U.S. Naval Academy Commissioning Week, the Blue Angels roared overhead during their celebration. Watching the jets streak across the sky while these two promised forever to one another was one of those completely unplanned moments that no one could have scripted.
It was such a uniquely Annapolis memory, and one that made their wedding day even more unforgettable.
This couple chose to have photography coverage for just a few hours, and it was the perfect fit for their day.
We documented their ceremony, celebrated with portraits beforehand, and captured all the little moments that mattered most. It was proof that meaningful wedding photography isn’t about how many hours are on the timeline—it’s about preserving the moments you’ll want to relive for years to come.
Whether you’re planning a large celebration or an intimate ceremony with just your closest family, your story deserves to be documented with the same care and intention.
