Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Meet Sloan

Sloans mama carried her for much of the same time that I was pregnant with my most recent baby, it was such a fun journey to have a friend close to the same week as you throughout your pregnancy to compare things too.. and mostly talk about what cravings were setting in that week! I loved photographing Maternity portraits while sweet sloan took up residence in her mamas baby bump, as well as pregnancy announcements with her big sister.. I was there just a few hours after she was born to capture her hospital photos during her Fresh 48 sessions and was overjoyed to capture her Newborn Portraits. I love her family so much so it was such an honor for me to be a part of all of these special times for them and document this journey of becoming a family of 4! Sloan was a complete angel for her Newborn portraits, and its so incredible to me just how much she looks just like her big sister, it continued to remind me of just not too long ago we were photographing her big sister Ardens Newborn portraits as well.

She slept through almost the whole thing, including family portraits and some sweet portraits with her big sister. When siblings are as young as Sloans sister Arden is, you never really know just what to expect, some love the camera and others are not interested in it at all, I think they turned out perfect, just as sweet as the two of them are together, Arden quickly let us know she was done and not interested in any other poses, and that was totally ok we focused just on Sloan after that, and ohhhhh how I loved snuggling her in between her poses and shots! I look forward to photographing her over the next few months as she grows!
