You do not have to wait until your baby turns ONE to update their portraits. Milestone, and sitter sessions are a quick fun way to grab some new portraits, and capture each stage as they grow.

3, 6, 9, 12 Months, or even 18 and 24 months are great points to capture new portraits.

Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Meet Gavin

As an Annapolis Newborn Photographer I obviously love having newborns in the studio, it makes it even more exciting when those newborns belong to good friends of mine, that Ive waiting for during their pregnancies to meet those sweet faces, and Gavin, he was worth the wait.. what a sweet, sweet, laid back baby. I mean really.. nothing really bothers this little man, and he may have just been born to model! I LOVED photographing him, and cuddling him and I wrapped him up in some swaddles. It wasnt long ago that I was photographing his big sister Everly’s Newborn portraits, and what a doll she was as well! Gavins Mommy plans to display some of their newborn portraits side by side, so we tried to recreate a bit of the same feel from big sisters shots, so that they compliment in each other when up on the wall.

Gavins mama had brought in a few special hats for him, including one made by his grandmother for him, and a sweet little fox hat… I so enjoyed snuggling this little guy who was super cozy and curly, and im pretty sure actually enjoyed being posed, and moved around, and even gave us an incredible baby smile! I mean, what can be better then smiles from adorable baby boys!

Congratulations to Gavin’s family on the addition of a sweet little miracle boy! I am looking forward to beautiful family portraits this summer!
