You do not have to wait until your baby turns ONE to update their portraits. Milestone, and sitter sessions are a quick fun way to grab some new portraits, and capture each stage as they grow.

3, 6, 9, 12 Months, or even 18 and 24 months are great points to capture new portraits.

Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Meet Amelia

About two weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel to beautiful Carroll County to meet the P family who had just welcomes their first baby sweet Amelia. Oh my what a doll she was, just as beautiful as ever, gorgeous hair, and so incredibly laid back. I started in her nursery which was filled to the brim with amazing DIY nursery decor, including tons of great headbands of which many came from a “headband Making Bar” at mamas baby shower, isn’t that a fabulous idea? I started with shots in the nursery and then we moved to other areas in the house that just had the most beautiful bright lighting in it. Miss Amelia decided that she agreed sleepy shots would be alright with her and drifted off into dream land for me to grab some beautiful sleepy shots. The dreamy shots are my favorite, especially when they crack a smile here and there.

Oh my, her mommy and me and daddy and me shots were breathtaking, this little girl is so incredibly loved, and her mama could spend hours just staring at her, so thankful that she is hers! She decided to wake up at the very end for a quick wardrobe change and made a tiny little peep and that was pretty much all we heard out of her. We were even able to grab a shot with the sweet hat her grandmother made for her! Congratulations P family, she is incredible and I cannot wait until the next time I photograph that sweet face, enjoy these sweet newborn days, they go by so quickly!
