This sweet tiny girl made her way into the studio last week, she is the daughter of a friend of our family’s and I was so excited to capture her Newborn Portraits. As soon as I saw all of that dark hair and little button nose, I just couldn’t wait to get her in some darling headbands and get my hands on her!! She was just a few days old which is optimal timing for Newborn Portraits as babies sleep deeper and can be posed more easily! She did wonderful and slept her way through the session, in fact she was sleeping so soundly at one point she needed a bit of posing assistance just to hold her little arms in place as she was so relaxed they just slid to the side! She kept on dreaming until the very end of the session as we were posing her in daddy’s hands, she decided she was in the perfect spot to have a tiny accident.. no worries, that happens quite often in a newborn studio when babies are hardly dressed, and under the warmth of the heaters!!
What a doll baby Harper was, I wish her mom and dad lots of luck in these early baby days, and hopefully if they are extremely lucky a few good nights of sleep!
