3, 6, 9, 12 Months, or even 18 and 24 months are great points to capture new portraits.

Annapolis Family Photographer | Gavin turns 1

It doesn’t feel like a year ago but it certainly was, infact we were cleaning up from last years big snow storm and I got to go meet sweet little baby Gavin. Oh my was he adorable, and of so loved, not only by his excited new parents but by the other fur babies in the house! They followed me around and watched over him as if he was their own. It was only fitting when planning Gavins one year old photo shoot that we included the pups in this shoot as well!!! Thankfully we were blessed with a slightly warmer day in January just days before the monster snow storm moved into the East Coast. We met in Beautiful Downtown Annapolis with a baby boy, a stroller full of goodies, two adventurous parents, two dogs who had their own plans in mind, and a friend who so graciously offered to come along to watch over the dogs… oh an a photographer who was ready to sing and dance and do all the things needed to keep a 1 year old boy the the most incredible fluffy hair happy. The fluffy hair I have been told is his trademark of sorts!!

He did fabulous, well, I lie… as soon as we took of his shoots which he clearly despises he did fabulous. He certainly didnt want to wear his shoes but, chew on them, well that was more his style!

Congratulations mom and dad, hes one very sweet little boy! Happy Birthday Gavin, I hope you get to enjoy so much cake, and shoes to chew on!
