It had been a full year since I photographed Dean, the last time he was just turning 1 no longer a baby not yet a big boy. This time now turning two he had grown and changed so much, and I got to meet his new baby sister of whom he enjoyed holding for about 2.5 seconds. Deans mama is also a photographer so it was excited chatting with her about all thing photography as we walked around the park, and Dean rolled down the hill! Its crazy to me how fast these babies grow. I mean, with my own daughter I am reminded why its not ok to blink because they will be grown, but many times I feel like I have just photographed their Newborn sessions when we are setting up their first and second birthday shoots. Dean looked quite dapper in his polo and suspenders and golf hat, but in the true spirit of being all boy he quickly found a hill to run up and down and roll through the cut grass at the bottom just to make sure his clothes weren’t too clean, with a grass stain here or there, but really… what little boy is complete without some evidence of good outdoor fun on them like grass or dirt! Dean’s mama is a volunteer at the county park that we photographed in, working with the farm goat division and sounds like a fun adventure that keep her busy and frequenting that park, with the possibility of getting her own goats.
