Annapolis Family Photographer | Couture gown river session

Last week I had the honor of capturing sweet baby harpers 6 month portrait session. She was on the baby plan with a belly to baby package, which is one of my favorite packages as it allows me the opportunity to photograph these darling babies from the time that their parents are awaiting their arrival, and dreaming of what they will look like to the time when they are no longer a Newborn, but now are 6 months old and sitting up with all sorts of personality. All of the sessions I have had with caitlin and baby harper have been so exciting! Caitlin is also a photographer and very creative and fun, and so easy to work with, she comes with incredible ideas… When she said that she wanted to get back in a gown for Harpers 6 month session like she did for her Maternity session, I was literally jumping up and down in my office, and knew the perfect spot. There is a lovely river in a gorgeous baltimore county park that I had photographed at a few times before but hadn’t had the chance to in the late summer, so I threw that option out there and Caitlin was on board, and I am so glad that she did too.. they came out fabulous! When I think of a mama and her baby I think of intense emotions, feelings, closeness, and natural and that is exactly what we got… from that nakie babe, the her mama cuddling her in so close… Perfection!!!

Getting out in the river, and carrying all of our stuff, well not so glamorous but it was a very fun time!
