One of my favorite things about being a Baltimore Newborn Photographer is getting the opportunity to meet families before their newest little one arrives and then continue documenting their story after baby is born.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family for the very first time during their beautiful beach maternity session. As the sun began to set over the water, we spent the evening capturing this exciting season of anticipation as they prepare to welcome their baby girl into the world.

Their little boy was absolutely adorable and full of personality. Watching him interact with his parents and talk about becoming a big brother made me even more excited for what is ahead for this growing family. There is something so special about maternity sessions when an older sibling is involved. You can already see the love and curiosity they have for the baby they haven’t even met yet.

The beach provided the perfect backdrop for their maternity portraits. Between the soft sand, warm summer breeze, and golden sunset light, every detail came together beautifully. Sunset maternity sessions are some of my favorites because they create such a relaxed atmosphere where families can simply enjoy being together while we document this fleeting chapter of life.

As a Baltimore Newborn Photographer, I always encourage families to consider documenting both maternity and newborn milestones. Pregnancy passes so quickly, and before you know it, you’re holding your baby in your arms.
