Heros | Baltimore Family Photographer

Having been a wife to a uniform wearing man, I know how hard that lifestyle can be. The long hours, the on-call, the unknown, the wondering… the waiting… the pride… the amount of love a family can have for their hero. This year I wanted to hold a day of appreciation for all of those families with heroes, who sacrifice a lot for others to be safe. I wanted to create a place where we could capture beautiful photographs, memories of children and families together with their Hero in uniform. Something that years from now can always be an image that they hold dear to their heart.. one that they love, and value, and represents the pride the have for the person in that photo.

It was such an honor for family after family to walk in with their uniformed member and to photograph them. I met so many new faces, learned so many new things.. and ultimately have such a level of respect for families who share this common thread, who love their hero so much, but also worry about them. Who have so much pride in the incredible work that they do, but also know that it can be scary. These friends.. these are the Heros… these men and woman, many times both mom and dad arrived in uniform… these are the real men and women out there doing it, putting in the time, making the sacrifices, leaving for deployments, gone for holidays, and birthdays, and special family times…. to keep us all safe.. to be the helpers, to create a sense of security!

I am honored to call them my friends, my clients, my family!
