Here in the Chesapeake bay region of Maryland everything we cook and prepare generally includes the same ingredient, I’ll give you one guess??? Maryland Blue Crab would be the correct answer. Today is gloomy and rainy, I kept thinking of what soup I should make or the afternoon, and Crab soup it is! This recipe is incredibly easy, I have adapted it to my liking from a mixture of about 3 recipes including the “classic” recipe from Old Bay! ENJOY!

1 pound Maryland jumbo lump crab meat
2 Cups milk
2 pints heavy whipping cream
1 quart half and half
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley
3 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
1/3 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
cornstarch as needed
Mix together the milks, Bring to a boil, upon boil add in Crab meat, butter, and spices, bring to boil again, make a mixture of cornstarch & water and add to thicken to your desire.
